Sasha 062107

Sasha was a bass I made with left over scrap woods from my shop. She is mostly Panga Panga wood with a Panga/ Maple center block.
I had to make her body a little smaller as the wood is so heavy but I did find that she was comfortable to play and she has a deep punchy tone. Her neck was one of my “One Piece” flatsawn Maple designs. She has a Gabon Ebony fretboard with 22 frets and a 34 inch scale. I would have made her a medium scale but I had not started making those back then. I think she was one of the better sounding basses I made at the time. I believe she is now on tour with a rock/ counrty musician.
