Bajo Quinto

This is a bajo quinto that I made awhile back and had back into the shop for some custom modifications.  The top was originally natural but we decided to make the top darker after popping the grain some.

The neck is Jatoba, Wenge, and Maple.  The body is of Mahogany topped with Maple.  The bajo is chambered or semi-hollow, so the overall weight is only 7.4 pounds.

Cocobolo fret board and bridge.

Hipshot tuners, simulated abalone binding, gold EVO fretwire, and a single EMG pickup round out the equipment.
